About

Meet Rachel - Head Blogger:
Rachel is a fun-loving artist and writer.  She loves drawing and painting, but also enjoys writing.  When it comes to food, she prefers lemonade to soda, loves mashed potatoes and BLT’s, and mint-chocolate chip ice cream is incomparable to any other flavor.  Her and her sister have a website called southkakalakigirl.com.  Their website is put together by a group of their friends.  Rachel likes graphic design and is interested in drawing.  Cooking and baking are not a chore for her.  She actually enjoys being in the kitchen!  When she gets to college, Rachel would either like to study nursing or teaching.  Check out some of Rachel's posts: Summer Snapshot Video.

Meet Hailey - Assistant Blogger:

Hailey, who enjoys animals, is a girl that lives on a farm. She would almost do anything for an animal. She loves to read and write. She actually has started writing a couple books. None of them have been finished yet but she is continually working on them every chance she gets.  She currently owns the blog ModelTopia.   Many of you may not know but she also has a passion for music.  Her favorite type is country.  She has always had the dream of being a nurse because she loves to help people in need.  She loves the color blue and brownies.  Some of her hobbies are hunting and riding four-wheelers.

Meet Past Bloggers:

Amanda - Amanda was the "Covergirl Spring 2014."  Check out some of her posts:  What's In My Bag?J Dollz: A Review, and Smoothie-licious!  She tends to be very shy, but once she gets to know you, beware: she can talk your ear off! She loves to read, write, and eat peanut butter or ice cream! She also enjoys creating graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and playing around with actions and textures in Photoshop is especially fun. Like her mom, she loves taking pictures, especially when they actually turn out! But one of her most favorite pastimes is writing. There is just something that thrills her about being able to create a world of fantasy and share it with other people. She and her sister, Rachel, are pretty much always inseparable, and Amanda has a special place in her heart for her mischievous brothers, especially Benjamin.  She also owns a newsletter and blog.  Check it out here

Maddie - Maddie was the original founder of this awesome blog.  She wanted SST to be a place where tween/teen girls can come together, share experiences, read reviews, take quizzes, get some advice on school, find cool fashions, and more.  After a little less than a year of blogging, Maddie decided to go in a different direction and passed on her blog to Rachel and Hailey.  Besides writing, Maddie loves reading, swimming, the outdoors, lip gloss, sports, music, and having fun with her pets.

    1. Whether it is writing down each name on a slip of paper and putting it inside a bowl and choosing a name, using a software on the internet, or sometimes voting, we are sure you will win fairly. Have fun. xo

    1. Hope you can create a blog! And if you need anything, I can help! :) I think the contests involve the most planning because you need to know how much you are going to spend and what your going to be giving away. Sometimes you only have to give away small prizes. And sometimes you can ask your friends and family to donate prizes for your giveaways. Also, be sure to check with small companies to see if they'd be interested in giving you some products to donate. Don't go broke just by having contests!! Your blog can still be cool without them;-)
